Our committees ignite the potential and promise of local youth by helping ensure that our programming continues to run effectively.

COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES

MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS

  • Facilitate the Agency’s marketing plan, communications, and public relations.
  • Enhance visibility to recruit new volunteer mentors and make the community aware of the programs and their need for funding.
  • Charged with placing special emphasis on recruitment of minority volunteers.

BOARD DEVELOPMENT

  • Make recommendations to the Executive Committee on bylaw and Articles of Incorporation revisions and/or amendments for their approval.
  • Orientation of new Board members and ongoing development of the Board.

FUND DEVELOPMENT

  • Strengthen agency funding in order to gain the resources necessary to effectively manage the programming needs of its service delivery area.

HUMAN RESOURCES

  • Assist the CEO in formulating policy recommendations for the Board.
  • Conduct an annual review of the personnel policies and practices of the Agency.
  • Analyze benefits and make recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding the appropriate benefits package and salary range for each position.

JUNIOR LEADERSHIP

  • Young professionals who support the agency’s volunteer recruitment and fundraising goals.

FINANCE

  • Make recommendations for agency investments and policies surrounding investments and endowment activities.

PROGRAM & SERVICES

  • Review and make recommendations to the Board of Directors concerning the nature and scope of the agency’s programs in alignment with National Standards.
