BBBS will help connect former Littles/Bigs
| Did you have a Big Brother or Big Sister when you were a child? Or, are you a former Big? If you have been a Little or a Big through Big Brothers Big Sisters, A Community of Caring and would like to contact your former mentor or mentee, the agency may be able to help. Mary-Therese Courtade, Big Brothers Big Sisters’ director of enrollment and quality assurance, generally takes phone calls from former Littles or Bigs curious about what happened to their Big or Little. She says the number of calls is increasing, so “we’re beginning (with permission) to gather contact info of former Littles and Bigs who would like to hear from each other.” If a Little or Big then calls and their name is on the list, the contact information will be shared. “There seem to be quite a few former Bigs and Littles who’d like to reconnect and we hope to be able to help,” Courtade says.
