BBBSMI Receives A Growth Award!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Michigan (BBBSMI) has been recognized as a Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) Growth Award Winner for program excellence in 2023!
Every year, BBBS agencies are recognized by BBBSA’s Nationwide Leadership Council, made up of local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency leaders and board members, for excellence in the organization’s signature 1-to-1 youth mentoring program. Out of more than 230 Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the country, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Michigan is one of 100 organizations to receive this top honor.
MORE YOUTH SERVED
The Growth Award recognizes agencies that have demonstrated growth in the number of mentors (“Bigs”) and youth (“Littles”) who are matched through the program, year over year. In 2023 BBBSMI served 222 youth and grew its local services by 14% percent.
