Bowl for Kids’ Sake

We are ready to get rolling on our 2026 events!

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is back! Join us for the gutter balls and rented shoes to celebrate the money you raised to support one-to-one mentoring in Southwest Michigan.

Teams of 5 or 6 pledge to raise a minimum of $75 each ($375 per 5-person team, or $450 per 6-person team) to participate. Afterwards, join us and other Bowl for Kids’ Sake teams for a 2 hour bowling party to celebrate your successful fundraising!

How Does Bowl for Kids’ Sake Work?

Form a 5–6-person team. It’s easiest if there’s a team captain who helps lead the way.
Register for your bowling party. Team Captains set the team up online and let their team members know when to visit the website and join the team. With 7 two-hour parties to choose from in Calhoun and Kalamazoo and counties, we can’t wait to see you!
Customize and share your fundraising webpage. It’s easy and customized pages raise more money! Just log on, upload a photo, and share your story.
Raise funds for BBBS. By sending an email, text, tweet, posting a Facebook post, or asking a few friends for support, you can make a big difference in the lives of children in your community.
Hit your fundraising goal. Individual fundraising minimum: $75. Just ask for $25 from three friends. Team fundraising minimum: $375-450 (5/6-person team goals). Many teams raise much more than that! Reach Super Team status and get perks!
Bowl and have fun! Show up at your scheduled BFKS party and have a terrific time with your teammates.

If you really want to add some fun to your bowling celebration, enter the Team Costume Contest!

This year’s theme is – Let the Games Begin! Step into a world of classic fun and friendly competition as we bring board games to the bowling alley! Whether you dress as your favorite game piece, become a legendary board game character, transform into dice or a deck of cards, or put your own twist on a beloved tabletop favorite, the possibilities are endless. After all the Bowl for Kids’ Sake parties are complete, photos of all teams that wore costumes will be on our Facebook page where one “like” will count as one vote. The winning team will receive a fabulous prize!
